BERNE, Ind.—Quick & Easy Rag Rugs is a pattern book published by Annie’s Attic featuring five rag rug projects in an eight-page, full-color book that retails for $6.95.

Rug designs in the book include a rippling effects rug, a round rug, a traditional oval rug, a rustic rug and a granny-squares rug, with easy to follow, step-by-step instructions for creating each rug. There are also general instructions for fabric preparation.

Annie’s Attic published its first needlecraft pattern in 1975 and quickly became one of America’s premier sources for innovative and classic designs, especially in crochet. Patterns were first sold individually, but eventually were published in a catalog that also featured key needlecraft supplies. Catalog items are available from the Web site at AnniesAttic.com.

The goal of Annie’s Attic is to publish a wide variety of high quality needlecraft publications and craft patterns in a number of special interest areas. These patterns are known for exceptional instructional accuracy and clarity, and for brilliant, creative photography.

Annie’s Attic is a brand of DRG, nationally known publisher of magazines, books, patterns and project booklets. Other DRG brands include Clotilde, House of White Birches, The Needlecraft Shop and American School of Needlework.
