DRG hires new financial analyst

BERNE, Ind.--Douglas Detwiler has been hired as the new financial analyst for DRG.

For the past eight years, Detwiler was a financial analyst in the pricing department at R.R. Donnelley, a commercial printer in Harrisonburg, Va. He provided support to the management, sales, marketing and manufacturing departments, offering financial projections, price quotations, contract writing and profit analyses.

Detwiler served as the coordinator and lead instructor for price training for all corporate and division employees and coordinated data analysis for contract renewal strategies. He managed both domestic and international accounts.

He also worked for Great Eastern Resort Management in McGaheysville, Va. as an accountant and supervisor for 50 company employees. He served as treasurer for Northfield Count Home Owners Association and was a sales agent for Mutual of Omaha Insurance.

"I am very excited to have someone with Doug's credentials join the DRG family," said Craig Leichty, DRG controller. "His experience with financial projections and other financial analysis, along with his background in the printing industry, are great additions to our current finance staff. We look forward to Doug's input and added value over the coming years."

Detwiler attended James Madison University, earning a bachelor's degree in business finance and a master's degree in business administration. He studied language and culture at the British Institute in Florence, Italy.

He will relocate to the Berne area from Harrisonburg, Va., with his wife, Rebecca, and three children.
