BERNE, Ind. -- House of White Birches, popular brand of nationally-known publisher DRG, has released a new project book featuring the redwork design technique. Redwork Winter Twitterings includes 48 pages of project instruction and retails for $9.95.

The art of redwork combines embroidery stitches, red embroidery floss and red and white fabric, which, when combined, create a colorful hand-stitched and personalized project. The book begins with a tutorial of redwork basics, followed by eight redwork projects featuring more than a dozen embroidery designs.

Pearl Louise Krush is the designer of the book's projects. Krush owns and operates The Thimble Cottage Quilt Shop in Rapid City, S.D., and also designs fabric for the Troy Corporation.

Redwork Winter Twitterings is available from the Clotilde catalog, accessible online from the catalog website at Clotilde.com.
