BERNE, Ind. -- The Needlecraft Shop, popular publishing brand of DRG, has released a plastic canvas pattern book called Fashion Doll Furniture, with plastic canvas patterns for creating fashion-doll furnishings. The book includes 28 pages of detailed instruction and color photos and retails for $6.95.

Fashion Doll Furniture provides step-by-step instructions for completing four furniture design settings. Each design includes a color key, an easy-to-read diagram, a color photo of each piece and a complete materials list. Designs are written at the intermediate plastic canvas skill level.

Most of the items in the book are stitched using clear, 7-count plastic canvas and call for basic supplies such as tapestry needles, fiberfill, medium-weight yarn and craft glue.

The Needlecraft Shop is a prime source for plastic canvas, crochet and cross-stitch. The company launched in 1986 and became part of the DRG family of brands in 1994. It produces a variety of needlecraft patterns, books and pattern booklets in various special interest areas.
