Can I give a gift subscription?

I'm a new subscriber, why did I get several issues in a row so quickly? |
On a bill-me-later subscription, we send your free issue and then await payment before sending any more. However, depending on the timing of your order and subsequent payment, there's a chance that you could miss an issue during that time. Whenever possible, we try to keep that from happening. The result is sometimes two or three issues in quick succession. |
My subscription is paid and doesn't expire for a long time -- why am I getting renewal offers? |
From time to time we do send out special, optional early renewal offers. Some offer a price discount for renewing well in advance, others offer different incentives or gifts for renewing early. If you don't want to take advantage of those kinds of offers, please disregard them. |
Why do I still get renewal notices when I just renewed recently? |
Most likely your renewal order to us crossed in the mail with one of our notices. If so, please ignore the notice. Or, you may have renewed longer ago than you think and may be close to the end of your current subscription. As a convenience to our subscribers we begin sending renewal reminders about six months in advance of the last issue, one notice a month. This helps ensure that everyone has plenty of time to renew so there'll be no break in service.
If you're uncertain about when to renew, you can always check how many issues you have remaining by looking at your subscription label, or by visiting the magazine Web site.

Please explain your free issue subscription offer. |
If you'd like to see a free copy of one of our magazines before deciding to subscribe, just order it on a bill-me-later basis. We'll acknowledge your order with a quick reply, showing that we've processed your request, and what the price would be if you did subscribe. If you like the free issue when it arrives (usually a week or so after the order acknowledgement), simply pay the bill that comes attached. If not, just mail us back the bill, marked "cancel," and keep that issue for free. |
Do you have back issues available for sale? |
At this point, no. Because of the small number of requests for back issues, the costs involved and other factors, we have decided to print only enough issues to fulfill current subscriptions. |
My free issue wasn't what I expected. How can I cancel my subscription? |
As promised when you first subscribed, you may mail us your invoice marked "cancel" and keep that free issue as our gift to you for giving us a try. Or, you may cancel your subscription online at the Web site of the magazine itself (the link is in the FAQ section). If you cancel online we'll send you an e-mail confirmation as soon as your cancellation is processed. Either way you cancel, there are probably subscription bills already in the mail to you, however, so please ignore those.
If there's a service problem or other reason you wish to cancel, of course we hope you'll contact us first and give us a chance to solve the problem without resorting to cancellation.

Can I order a magazine subscription? I live overseas. |
Yes you can, we'd love to sign you up! Your annual cost would be $29.97 in US funds, by credit card or bank money order. As soon as we get your subscription payment, we will process your order immediately. For Canadian orders the subscription price is $24.97 in US funds.
