House of White Birches releases new knitting pattern book

BERNE, Ind.—House of White Birches, trusted brand of nationally-known publisher DRG, announces the release of a new pattern book for knitters called Easy Turtleback Jackets. The book includes eight easy jacket designs in a 24-page, full-color book that retails for $7.95.

Easy Turtleback Jackets opens with an introduction to the turtleback design, with folding and wearing illustrations. All of the patterns are written at the easy skill level, with instructions for knitting jackets in women’s sizes small, medium, large and extra-large. The book also includes basic knitting instructions and a listing of standard abbreviations used in the patterns.

Projects in the book are designed by Sue Childress and Frances Hughes, owners of Stitches ‘N Stuff Yarn and Gift Shop in Longview, Texas. Childress and Hughes have been creating knitted and crocheted designs for a number of years, with projects featured in prominent needlecraft magazines.
