Quilter's World offers fall projects for today's quilter
Quilter's World offers original patterns that combine traditional quilting with contemporary quilt creations. It includes full-size quilt patterns and smaller quilt projects, along with informative articles about quilt designs and designers. Every issue offers helpful quilting tips on the latest trends and techniques from some of today's top quilting experts.
"Designers from all over the country contribute to our magazine," said Editor Sandra Hatch. "No matter what theme we choose as the focus, our creative experts provide a variety of beautiful quilts -- from simple patterns to more intricate designs in all sizes and shapes."
Projects in the October issue include a quilt-as-you-go tote, a bargello-design wall hanging, a patchwork table runner and a variety of full-size quilts. There is also a back-to-basics feature article on pins, and in the Behind the Quilts section, a quilting story about the combined talents of two quilters and the quilt-pattern business they jointly launched in 2006.
Quilter's World provides helpful hints for both novice and experienced quilters, with insightful information on cleaning, storing and stitching quilts, plus feature articles about the artists behind the designs. Each featured project includes a set of step-by-step instructions, a complete list of the needed materials and a detailed quilt block illustrational guide to assist quilters at all experience levels.
The magazine is published six times a year and is available by subscription from the magazine Web site at Quilters-World.com. The online site also features additional quilt patterns, information on quilting events, a free e-newsletter, and access to an online subscription for the digitally formatted version of the magazine.
