Autumn card-making projects in September CardMaker
The September issue includes Halloween cards, birthday wishes, thank you cards, autumn expressions and get-well wishes. There is also a feature article on creating faux finishes, with faux linen, cracked glass, faux silk, and faux stained glass. The issue also includes a feature called "One Card Five Ways," with creative suggestions for making slight variations to a basic card design to make it adaptable to five different occasions.
The magazine contains product reviews, card-making tips and creative card ideas that come with step-by-step instructions. In addition to detailed directions for completing each card project, there are full listings of the needed materials and a number of suggested usable quotes to complete each sentiment.
Feature articles in CardMaker provide a valuable resource for paper crafters at every experience level and are written by some of today's leading experts in the art of paper crafting. Additional product information is available, with tips on card-making books and card-crafting basics.
"Card making is growing in popularity," said Editor Tanya Fox, "because artists realize it doesn't take a lot of time to create a card that could be the bright spot in someone's week, and at the same time, offer a relatively simple outlet for artistic expression."
Additional card-making resources are available from the CardMaker Web site at CardMakerMagazine.com.
