BERNE, Ind. -- Crochet! magazine, official magazine of the Crochet Guild of America and a primary source for patterns created to reflect today's crochet trends, is available in retail stores, specialty shops and on newsstands for $5.99. The September 2009 issue includes 27 crochet projects for fall.

Crochet! is published by DRG, nationally-known publisher of special-interest magazines and books. The magazine premiered in 2002 and continues to be a leader in crochet creations, with up-to-date information contributed by crochet designers from across the country. Published six times a year, it features crochet projects in skill levels that range from easy through advanced.

Crochet! offers projects for all ages, and every pattern includes a set of step-by-step instructions and a color photo of the completed project. In addition to traditional patterns, such as doilies, hats, sweaters and scarves, there are purses, skirts, jackets and beaded jewelry made with the latest specialty yarns. There are also detailed instructions for new crochet techniques and informative how-to articles that add an educational element.

Projects in the September issue include an openwork stitch jacket, a ribbed cardigan, a mesh hoodie, a men's cardigan, and items for babies and children. Also featured are two Knots of Love cancer caps. Knots of Love is an organization dedicated to creating handmade crocheted caps for adults battling cancer or other life-threatening illnesses or injuries.
