BERNE, Ind. -- The August 2009 issue of Crochet World is now available on newsstands and in specialty shops, featuring 32 end-of-summer and autumn crochet projects in a 68-page, full-color magazine. Published by DRG, nationally-known publisher of special-interest magazines, books and project booklets, the magazine retails for $5.99.

Crochet World launched in 1978 as one of the first magazines geared specifically toward crochet. It offers the latest in crochet projects, with an up-to-date look that features full-color projects and a range of crochet patterns. Every issue includes crochet toys, dolls, doilies, clothing items, afghans and baby items, using yarns and threads that are readily available in retail outlets and needlecraft shops.

The August issue includes patterns written for crocheters at every skill level -- from beginner through advanced, with sweaters, afghans and other items for autumn.

Regular features in Crochet World include Crochet Questions, Timeless Treasures, Just Threads and a buyer's guide with contact information for some of the best-known retailers of yarns and needlecraft supplies.

Crochet World is published six times a year by House of White Birches, a brand of DRG. Crocheters can learn more about the magazine and other DRG crochet publications by visiting the Crochet World Web site at Crochet-World.com.

A wide range of needlecraft and specialty publications and products are available from DRG through its existing brands, which include Annie's Attic, Clotilde, House of White Birches, American School of Needlework and The Needlecraft Shop.
