BERNE, Ind. -- DRG, nationally known publisher of special-interest magazines and books, recently released a 24-page crochet pattern book called Pineapple Doilies. The book is published under the Annie's Attic brand and sells for $7.95.

With Pineapple Doilies, crocheters can choose from eight doilies featuring the popular pineapple design, all stitched with size 10 cotton thread. The patterns are written at the intermediate skill level and range in diameter from 7 inches to 15 inches.

The book includes easy-to-follow instructions and full-color photographs with each project. Patterns come complete with materials listings and special pattern notes for added ease in crocheting each doily.

Pineapple Doilies also offers an illustrated stitch guide and an abbreviations chart, making it user-friendly for crocheters at all skill levels. The book is available from the Annie's Attic catalog at AnniesAttic.com, where crocheters can find many of the supplies listed in the book. Pineapple Doilies is also available from the DRG wholesale Web site at DRGWholesale.com.

Annie's Attic published its first needlecraft pattern in 1975 and quickly became one of America's premier sources for innovative and classic designs, especially in crochet. In 1996, it became part of the family of DRG brands.

In addition to the Annie's Attic brand, DRG encompasses leading brands that include House of White Birches, American School of Needlework, Clotilde and The Needlecraft Shop.

DRG is a third generation, privately owned company with two major business divisions; one in magazine and book publishing and consumer catalogs and continuities, and the other in subscription and product fulfillment.

Crocheters can learn more about the crochet and special-interest products and publications available from DRG by visiting the company Web site at DRGnetwork.com.
